Position Details

Role Objective/Purpose

We are looking for a self-motivated Distribution Executive to maximize the distribution of our tours and activities globally through our trade partners. Working closely with the product, sales, and commercial teams, you will ensure the right products are available on the appropriate platforms. This includes timely loading of new products, managing updates to existing ones, and resolving any issues that arise with trade partners.

You will work directly with internal and external stakeholders, including third-party IT platforms (such as channel managers), and maintain clear communication across departments, particularly with sales, procurement, and fulfillment teams.

Who You Are

You are a tourism professional with experience in OTAs, travel trade, or the tours and activities sector. You are detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and familiar with systems like Content Management Systems (CMS) and extranets. You have a commercial mindset, spotting opportunities to maximize sales and distribution of Travel Curious products. You thrive in fast-paced environments and confidently collaborate with internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Distribute and manage Travel Curious products across multiple trade partner platforms, ensuring compliance with the company's distribution strategy.

  • Maintain and grow the number of live products per partner, prioritizing based on feedback from sales and partners.

  • Play a key role in onboarding new partners, ensuring the use of partner extranets or CMS is fully understood and documented.

  • Ensure accurate product and pricing configurations within the company’s CMS and third-party content providers.

  • Act on internal feedback, ensuring any changes to product details are reflected on trade partners’ platforms.

  • Provide visibility on product distribution to other teams within the business.

  • Collaborate with operations, CPO, and sales teams on product initiatives.

  • Conduct quality assurance on trade partner platforms to ensure accurate display and bookable product availability, escalating issues when necessary.

Personal Skills and Key Competencies

  • 2+ years of experience in tourism, preferably in OTAs or the tours and activities sector.

  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams and leaders, including C-level executives.

  • Strong communication and influencing skills with exceptional verbal and written abilities.

  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail, particularly when working across multiple IT platforms.

  • Commercially minded with the ability to identify and act on new opportunities.

  • Familiarity with MS applications (Excel) and G Suite is desirable.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the Tourism Industry, ideally within the Tours & Activities sector.
